WaveArt Collective is an interdisciplinary group of artists supporting serious creative practice in Scarborough, built to reflect the cultural output of the city’s emerging artists.
Working closely with the WaveArt team, the visual identity was designed to position the collective alongside Toronto’s established arts institutions. The goal was to avoid pastiche or youth-program tropes, and instead create an identity that felt credible, modern, and culturally grounded.
This extended into The New Normal on the Margins, the collective’s first art book, documenting work from the Fellowship program.
